Hi, I want to transform an object. I found Objects > Transform, but I wasn't able to get what I want. See http://hagoschaos.de/test/ink.html there you see what I want to do. What values do I have to write into the transform matrix to get the trapezoid? (for the moment I made it with the gimp) Regards, Hago

Thanks for the info, Ted. As regards the autosave feature, I'm thinking in terms of a periodic backup to file during normal operation (not prompted by a crash). Be interesting to get users' views if there are major disadvantages, though I can see any. Should this be an option? Active by default? The dialog on restart would be complementary to this background save behaviour, telling you that there was an image available to be recovered. I'll write up a feature request when I'm back at a networked desktop. Inkscape and crime scenes

I'm a crime scene investigator and have beeen investigating the use of Inkscape for crime scene sketching. Has anyone else done this? It has all of the features that the high end programs do. I can not find any open source libraries of crime scene symbols to use with it though. I have begun compliing a libray myself. If no one out there has an open source one I will continue. It will have a large number of files and I would like to make it available in one download. The clip art area would not be approaite due to the large number of files. Any suggestions?
