Hi all, A few weeks back, I sent a call to arms for a conference I'm organising with David Odin in Lyon next March. Since then, a lot's happened - we've confirmed the dates and location - CPE Lyon, the 17/18/19 March 2006. And we've started assembling a line-up. The main purpose of the conference is to get the developers of different projects in the same place, and talking. The other main purpose of the conference is to have the developers of those projects meet their users (and vice versa), and in general to chill out, maybe get some work done, and have a good time. Jon Phillips will be giving a talk on Inkscape, OpenClipart and creative commons, someone from Blender will be coming to present Project Orange (I hope), and there will also be presentations of Scribus from mrdocs and MrB, and the GIMP, although I don't know by whom yet. The current plan is to have 2 very light days of presentations on Friday and Saturday, and to consecrate Sunday completely to impromptu BOFs, hackfests, demos, brainstorming sessions, whatever happens. Should be fun, and I'd really like to see a good showing for Inkscape. Colored Arrows

When adding an end marker (or midpoint marker), the color is black (even if the line color is nonblack). Is it possible to change the color of the markers? Also, is it possible to change the orientation of the marker?

Can't import postscript

Hi, I am a completely new user and I installed inkscape mainly to manipulate postscript files. The installation was done with inkscape-0.42.2.x86.package on suse 9.0. My problem is that I can't seem to be able to import .ps files doing "File -> Import " and setting the filter to "All files". Inkscape tells me that it is unable to load the (.ps) file I choose. Here are the error messages I get : - when starting inkscape inkscape: /usr/bin/../lib/libpng12.so.0: no version information available (required by inkscape) although pkg-config and libpng12-config are able to find a version : >pkg-config --modversion libpng12 1.2.5 >libpng12-config --version 1.2.5 - when trying to import a ps file /[...]/blah.ps:1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found %!PS-Adobe-2.0 EPSF-1.2 ^ Any help would be greatly appreciated.
