splitting a shape into two

Forgive me when I miss the obvious but... I have a shape with all those points along it's path. Let's assume it looks like a "T". Now I want join the two corner points so I end up with two shapes/objects. One looking like "-" and the other one like "|". _ T -> | How can I do that? cheers -- Torsten

Hey, there! Would somebody have some insight on this issue? The user in the forwarded message says that he installed inkscape-0.42.2-1.static.i686.rpm on his Mandriva LE 2005 (Athlon 2000.) When launching Inkscape, this is what he gets: inkscape: symbol lookup error: inkscape: undefined symbol: g_build_filenamev Any pointers? Greetings! Hi list! Today I was install inkscape i686 in my Mandriva LE 2005, but it don't work. When I execute him from konsole I toke this message: inkscape: symbol lookup error: inkscape: undefined symbol: g_build_filenamev I don't know that to do! Please, I need your help! Divergence between Inkscape and librsvg2

Hi, I just made the attached svg graphics with inkscape 0.42.2 and rendered it with librsvg 2.9.5 with the command rsvg --width 160 eumel.svg eumel.png Both files are attached. Problem 1: The 'A' is at a significantly higher position in the png file. When working with inkscape, the 'A' is below the center of the red circle. Problem 2: When trying rsvg --width 80 eumel.svg eumel.png (same as above, just 80 instead of 160) I get the error message *** attempt to put segment in horiz list twice Which of both programs causes these problems? Is it inkscape or rsvg? regards Hadmut

Rubber stamp effect
