lxml and stuff.

Compiled pre4 successfully . Some things like perfect bound cover and bar code don't work. Messages reference lxml in each case. So I iinstalled lxml. Still no joy. I started a recompile. I note on ./configure that I get the message "Internal Python skipped" Is this the root of the problem? I do have Python on my system. Suppressing anti-aliasing

I'm trying to make some pixel art using Inkscape but there's no way to suppress anti-aliasing. Is there a way to do this in Inkscape or are there any other programs that can do this? Ant

Pixel Perfect Inkscape

I'm using Inkscape 4.7 Pre 3 on OS X Leopard. I'm designing for the web, so for the most part, I'd like to have integer X and Y values for my shapes. Editing each point every time I drop a shape is frustrating. I've found that I can set the grid to 1px with major lines at 5px and Inkscape will tend to to the right thing when drawing rectangles or using the pen tool, but not always. There are still times when I have to edit X and Y by entering it into the spinner. Also, if I group objects and clone them. Not all of the objects retain an integer X/Y. They are off by a little bit. Are there any other ways to tell Inkscape to round to the nearest pixel? Alan Gutierrez

I am new to Inkscape and trying it out as a way of labeling images for publication. First, is there a way to search the archives for answers? Second, is there a way to get Inkscape to display the resolution of an image in dpi or ppi? Also, where do you adjust the ruler settings? Price Code Barcode generator.

The current inkscape-devel (Ubuntu) has a barcode facility. But it doesn't provide for the 5 digit price code often used on books next to the ISBN EAN code. Scribus does provide it as does the bookland.py online or local barcode generator. This should be easy to fix. Also, on the latest inkscape-devel the numbers at the bottom of the EAN-13 barcode are jumbled. Round single corner in a square

Hi, I want to round a single corner of a square, but I can't obtain what I want. Inside the square there is a circle and I'd like to have the corner with the same roundness of the circle. What I did till now is: 1) converting the square to a path 2) creating two new nodes in the middle of each side of the corner 3) move handles of the corner to round it This doesn't work very well, so I tried to duplicate the circle and cut the corner dividing paths. Maybe this is a better solution but I can't exactly align the cutting circle with the first one (I have to align them diagonally). Is there an easier way to do this? Or a tutorial or something about rounding single corners? Thank you, Carlo
