I compute the 3D transformation from the plane of a side to the plane of the view, and then set the 2D submatrix of this transformation matrix to the "transform" atribute of the clone. How to print on a network printer

Hi list, I installed a printer here on my job but I don't know how to print on a printer that is on another machine. The test printer is ok so I believe that the printer instalation is ok. Sincerely Ezequias

I like the solution, Adam, it's very practical. I was (secretly) trying to understand a bit more about the various path operations and how they can be combined. I couldn't find a combination to get visible elements bounded by paths to be coloured - I guess it's analogous to a fill operation in a rasterised environment. There isn't a direct analogue, but hoping to find something which will do the job. Send them behind the black lines if need be. At least it's a simple solution. Gimp Conference 2006

Eat Frog's Legs and snails in garlic butter! Enjoy the refreshing taste of duck liver! Eat baked pig intestines (a local speciality)! Come to Lyon for the GIMP Conference, 2006! We're in the early stages of the planning - and now's the time to stand up & be counted. The GIMP conference, which may become a more general Free Graphics conference, if other people like the idea, will be held in CPE, Lyon, in March or April 2006. We have 4 possible weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) available. The first is the weekend of St. Paddy's Day (the patron saint of Guinness), and David Odin's birthday - 17/18/19 March. The second is the weekend afterwards, when there's not much on - 24/25/26 March The third is the birthday of Dave Neary (me!), and April Fool's Day (think of the press release possibilities!) - 31 march/1/2 April. The last one - 7/8/9 April. We need to decide when the conference will be on soon, to reserve space in the university, get in contact with youth hostels, figure out what's going to happen, and work up some sponsorship. Once the dates are fixed, I'll send a follow-up announcement (if there are dates that are definitely out for you, let us know now). Everyone's welcome! Spread the word! Bring your dog! Because you have to draw them manually? Click on the drawing to create a shape that fills the area bounding the click point. Clicking on a line would create a path that bounds the line, clicking on one of the squares of the rubik's cube would create a four-sided shape of exactly the right size. Puzzle with a puzzle

Nicu's fantastic SVG clipart resource includes a Rubik-style cube. http://clipart.nicubunu.ro/svg/toys/rubik.svg I have a puzzle. What is the simplest set of operations which can allow me to recolor the squares (combining paths, breaking them apart, turning into bitmap, back again, filling derived paths etc.) I guess I need to decompose all the overlapping shapes into line segments, build them into shapes then somehow fill them. So I have an unusual puzzle - how to mess up a perfectly solved Rubik's cube. Surely it can't be that hard. People on this user list are BOUND to know how to do it, and I'm stuck. Ungroup 2. Select the coloured squares and remove the stroke 3. Select everything, then un-select the three coloured squares 4. Stroke to Path 5. Union, so all black lines are a single object 6. Select black lines 7. Duplicate three times, so there are four sets of black lines 8. Select yellow square, then select black lines (one set of) 9. Difference, which cuts the yellow square into nine, and destroys one set of black lines 10. Repeat 7. and 8. for the other colours 11. Break apart the coloured squares, so their colours can be set individually.
