Bug Party Saturday!

Announcement: Bug Party Invitation In an effort to beat the bug tracker and the feature tracker into submission, the Inkscape project is hosting a "Bug Party" on Saturday, September 24, 2005. This is an excellent opportunity for new contributors and non-developers to participate in the project. All day long (in the US time) the IRC channel #inkscape on server irc.freenode.org will be open, along with the correspondent Jabber room (see http://inkscape.org/discussion.php for more details). We expect to reach peak hours at 16-20 UTC on September 24 (8-12 PST) and 0-4 UTC on September 25 (16-20 PST on September 24) and guarantee presence of core Inkscape developers on those time intervals. How to select a segment

Hi I want to select a segment, but I don't know how. I'm only able to select two nodes. Any suggestion? Thx

Effect submission

I received a mail form one Carsten Goetze the other day asking how to submit an effect for inclusion in the inkscape distribution. Every time I tried to reply my mail was rejected by the remote server. Carsten, if you read these lists, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to get back to you immediately. Please post your effect to the patch tracker <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=93438&atid=604308> and send a mail the the mailing lists to encourage everyone to test your work. Aaron Spike

Thanks, that's useful, but it's a shame that it centers on the new object if any part is not visible. Maybe that could be made into an option. Hi Nicu, Could you tell me where to find the Map.svg is posted on the Inkscape website http://www.inkscape.org/showcase/gallery/inkscape_rpg_map.png ? I didn't find it on the openclipart.org Best regards Is it (all picture?) really public domain

Image effect

Hi list, Could anybody tell me if there is a simple way to generate borders effect on an image done in Inkscape ? I post an image (I generated with a Print Screen key) attached to express more clearly my doubt. sincerely Ezequias
