Hi, I found bug: when I import png image 726x88 px, in Inkscape it has 580x70pt. Mean pt pixels? Is there any chance to modify image size with transoform panel to exact size with constrained ratio? michalz

Inkscape Users, I had a few more beginners questions. #1 - If I have drawn to overlapping shapes, is there a way to combine them into one shape? #2 - When I drew a circle or ellipse it had a dark black border. Can you change the color of this border? #3 - When I try to apply a gradient fill to a shape, the color changes to shades of black, grey, and white. Is there something I need to change to apply gradient fills in color? #4 - Is there a way to change the rotation angle of text? Thanks for any suggestions. I appreciate any help. Not yet, at least not automatically. 0.38 will have arbitrary kerns and shift (all text objects are fully editable here: http://inkscape.org/screenshots/gallery/inkscape-0.38-linux-kerning.png) but without rotation or following a path. I did not try printing these particular files, but I'm afraid they are not optimized for printing (to put it mildly). They are much larger than standard page, especially the tutorial, and Inkscape cannot yet break large things into pages for printing. They are intended for on-screen perusal. Hello list, I have 0.37 installed on both Fedora Core 1 and Windows 2k. I have attempted to print the keycode file (under Help) but both platforms only print partial pages.
