Website: FAQ updated
by Maren Hachmann
Hi website translators,
we've had an update on the FAQ, describing the current status of CMYK in
Inkscape and listing some possible workarounds.
https://inkscape.org/learn/faq/#how-create-graphics-cmyk-color-space-inks...
The item about Inkscape 1.0 (something along the lines of 'will there be
an 1.0 and how will it look') has been removed, as we're getting closer
to the real 1.0 with each day.
I hope you all have a nice week ahead of you,
Kind Regards
Maren

Oh wow what an amazing find! I can't believe I didn't know about this.
This is an amazing manual, it seems to be made for a workshop about
Inkscape. Yes, please include it on the website!
https://www.srce.unizg.hr/files/srce/docs/edu/osnovni-tecajevi/r600_polaz...
SRCE is an amazing government agency, and oxymoron I know lol They are
responsible for bringing Internet and later broadband internet to
Croatia ahead of many other European countries. Their open source spirit
is very high, and although I know about their Drupal related activities
I'm so glad to see they're into Inkscape too!
They licensed the manual with
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0
They state that it was made by a team, so maybe they'd like the whole
team to be attributed, or maybe just the SRCE. We can ask them and see
what they prefer.
Thank you Milo for working on the translations! I tried to translate the
app a long time ago but it was way over my head, I don't use almost any
software in Croatian and I was so lost about how to name things.

About SourceForge mailing list inkscape-user-fr
by Bryce Harrington
Hi Sylvain,
I want to ask your opinion about French user community needs for
mailing lists.
I am upgrading us to Mailman3 and transitioning our mailing list hosting
from SourceForge to our own hosting. We have language-specific user
lists for IT, ES, and FR, but in looking at the list archives, I notice
they've not been getting much traffic lately, except for some posting
activity by you on the FR list.
What would you think if, at least for now, we dropped the
inkscape-user-* lists and consolidated all language posting to
inkscape-user? If we see more than, say, 3 people of that language
interested in starting up a mailing list for that language, we can
always set it up later.
