Upload issue

Hey. I am currently translating the nb.po file, but I cant get the sourceforge page to upload the file. I followed the description on trans.page but get an error "Uploaded file must be >20 and <256000 bytes". Is it me or....? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I would like to have permition to translate the Inkscape Home Page. There is any objection ? ps: I would like only to translate, not make ajustements on the html. Could someone other do that ? Translation wiki update

Hi all, after our discussions of the last weeks, I've started updating the translation wiki. -> A proposal for review, modifications, updates, remarks, completion can be found there : http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/TestPage It is based on the current translation pages, with some added general informations. If you feel OK with this, i will copy it over current Translation page of the wiki. My main concerns up to now are : - split main translation page, status and contacts ? - obsfucate mails in contacts ? - i've mentionned last translators, but in the vast majority, translations are managed by teams or at least several contributors - needs (a lot of) additional content - needs a big review regards, matiphas

Hi Ezequias, Thanks! It'll be great to have help with website translations. Have you joined the inkscape-translator@ mailing list? That would be the most appropriate place to ask about the status of translations. Have you seen the directions about how to translate the website? Let us know if you have questions. A good place to start may be the news items for the homepage. markup error

I'm getting a markup error again when I try to run `make distcheck`. Inkscape 0.44 String Freeze

Hi all, We've hit the point in the release process where no further string changes should be made (except in very exceptional circumstances). This enables translators to reach 100% translation rates. This is also the point where translators should really ramp up translation activity. We currently have 9 languages rated at 'significantly translated', with another half dozen that are nearly to that level. We've posted a news item with the current statuses to http://www.inkscape.org today. Please, if you know someone that knows english and one of the less well translated languages, consider helping them in creating an Inkscape translation for their language! Bryce
