Hello, I'm ltlnx (as you may know), who helped translate and refine a part of Inkscape Traditional Chinese translations for 1.3.1. If I may, I'd like to seek approval edit rights on the website, to translate content there, too. I've just made an MR[1] to the website's Django CMS translations, however most of the site content translations seem to happen on the web interface, so approval will be much appreciated. FOSDEM 2024: Call for Participation - Translations Devroom 2024

FOSDEM 2024 [1] will take place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th February 2024 in Brussels, Belgium. ## Key dates / New updates * Conference dates: 3-4 February, 2024 In person. * Translations DevRoom [2] date: Sunday 4th February (half a day in the morning). * Submission deadline: Sunday 10th December. * Announcement of selected talks: Friday 15th December. * You must be available in person to present your talk. * Talk submissions should be 30 mins and this should include Q&A time. ## TALK TOPICS For the second year in a row, FOSDEM will hold a devroom on all things related to translating FLOSS projects. * Recruiting new people to translate your project. * How it works in your project to translate softwares, websites, packages, manuals, tools, and so on. * Which tools are used by translators. * Exchange experiences between FLOSS projects. * Rewarding volunteer contributors and keeping volunteers motivated. * Showing which languages your project has been translated to. Again, these are just suggestions. We welcome proposals on any aspect of translations! ## HOW TO SUBMIT A TALK * Visit the FOSDEM 2024 pretalx [3] website. Inkscape translation to Basque/Euskara (eu)

Hello, My name is Iñigo, I'm a native Basque/Euskara (eu) speaker. I've been using Inkscape intermittently for quit some time, and detected one annoying translation error in the user interface that wasn't fixed. As translations for Basque language weren't updated since 2022-07-23 I decided to fix it myself and by the way contribute translating the whole file. I appreciate deeply the great work done so fare with Inkscape and want to collaborate translating to Basque as much as I can. I have experience translating free software, I am the coordinator and main translator for Basque in KDE. KDE uses SVN for translations and I am not used to GIT. I tried to make a merge request for the translations I made so far, in fact I tried to make one a few hours ago that I cancelled to add more translations I have just made. The merge request shows - "Requires 1 approval from eligible users and Devs." and - "Merge blocked: all required approvals must be given." So If I made the merge request correctly I'll wait for approval. Otherwise I would appreciate some tips to make it right. Cheers. Iñigo.
