Hi! I'm a Linux user for some years and I think it's time to start contributing. Besides, I'm a teacher at a secondary art school (ages 15-18) in Oporto, Portugal were we've been spreading the usage of free and open source software (FOSS). One of the difficulties students mention is the English language used by most applications. To overcame this problem I've decided to start helping in translating some projects. Because my school teaches exclusively art courses, I thought Inkscape would be a good starting point. After some searches around portuguese translation communities I end up contacting the portuguese Ubuntu translation team. I think I could benefit from the Rosetta platform and the Ubuntu-pt team collaboration. My question: is it possible to translate Inkscape through Ubuntu's Rosetta platform and then submit the finished work to Inkscape's project? Hello all, there are some new strings in the win32 installer for translation snipped from the *.nsh files ; 24 october 2006 new languages en_US@...110..., th ; 3rd December 2006 new languages eu km ; 14th December 2006 new lng_DeletePrefs, lng_DeletePrefsDesc, lng_WANT_UNINSTALL_BEFORE and lng_OK_CANCEL_DESC The files can be found in the inkscape/packaging/win32/ directory. Hi, I'm a translator subscribed to this list. I have received a lot of spam messages from it, more than not spam messages. Could anyone, please, configure this list or the mail server it is hosted on for avoid delivering of spam messages?? Thanks, Leandro Regueiro

I am also a big spam hater and agree to closing the list to subscribers only. Spammers should be tracked down and shot in the head before cutting them into little pieces. :) Greetings Stefan von Halenbach
