Up to now, Chinese and Vietnamese are completelely translated, Korean, Japanese and Punjabi have some level of translation. We really hope we can improve this, but need some new volunteers/contributors able to translate the application to Asian languages. Some experience with graphic software is a plus, but Inkscape has a very active and friendly community and any volunteer can easily find some help on the mailing-lists or Jabber/IRC. Plus we (Inkscape translators) are very lucky in that developpers pay a lot of attention to the interface and generally use explicit strings (thus quite easy to translate). Translation statistics and Launchpad/Rosetta

Hi guys, me and lots of others are using Launchpad[1] from Canonical[2] when translating. This means, AFAIK, the Inkscape statistics aren't counting our efforts. Maybe Inkscape maintainers should look into getting their hands on the Rosetta translations[3]? Hello, I'm a french webdesigner, and I speak english quite well because I'm married to an english woman. I use Inkscape every day in my work. I would love to collaborate with the translations in french, if there's anything to do. I would love to help with the french version of the website, too. Can anybody telle me were to start ?
