new strings and translation statistics for trunk

Hello, I ran update_po_files.sh in trunk to merge new translations into .po files, so there are now new strings to translate in r20879. Please note that these might still change a lot before next release so you don't _need_ to translate trunk now. I didn't find a release plan for 0.47 so I don't know when our pre-release translation efforts are supposed to start. I also ran some quick statistics; Table 1 shows statistics for trunk before the update, Table 2 after the update. The columns file name, show: total strings, translated strings, fuzzy strings, untranslated strings, translated strings (%), fuzzy strings(%), untranslated strings (%). Hi everybody! Are Inkscape snapshots from http://inkscape.modevia.com/svn-snap/ usable? They have size about 16M while 0.46 has more than 40M. I need working snapshot to make translation of trunk.

Yes. I was about to say the same thing. Where's this string in the GUI? I tried looking now but I couldn't find it. (I'm running 0.46, maybe that's why.) Why is it called envelope deformation?

Hi, I'm trying to come up with a good translation to spanish of the term "Envelope deformation" but I can't find any information on why it is called like that. Does it have anything to do with an envelope you use to send a letter (by snail mail)? Or maybe it has more to do with the verb "envelope" as in "wrap around" or "surround". new strings and localized language names

Hello, I ran update_po_files.sh in trunk to merge new translations into .po files, so there are now new strings to translate. Among the new strings there are now language names. I'd like to point out existence of a project which collects translations of language names in all languages [1]. It's a normal localization project in form of .po files. If it already contains translations in your language, you should probably use them for consistency (i.e. look up the language name in the ISO 639 .po file and copy it into your inkscape .po file). You can also check whether your language is maintained there and if not, also translate language names there. It will help other projects which use localized language names. The ISO 639 template is a part of Debian iso-codes package and you can either translate it directly on Alioth if you have svn access or via translationproject.org, which should be easier for translators. No new messages update

Hello List members, a few day ago I tried to update (svn up) from server (https://inkscape.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/inkscape/inks) but no new messages update. In catalog of Kbabel I saw some countries show different messages number (ex: he has 4239 messages, km has 3986 messages). P.S. I tried updtae message for Khmer (km). Do I have to use another option for svn up? Could anyone tell me about this? Thanks, Sokhem
