Hi fellow translators, A week ago I sent a mail to this list with a zipped .po file attached, and then I received this: Your mail to 'Inkscape-translator' with the subject Re: [Inkscape-translator] Croatian translation Is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval. The reason it is being held: Message body is too big: 148236 bytes with a limit of 40 KB Either the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive notification of the moderator's decision. If you would like to cancel this posting, please visit the following URL: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/confirm/inkscape-translator/e8139bdffe0… Since there is still no response from the moderator, I was wondering if anyone can explain how to submit this .po file. No new messages update

Hello List members, a few day ago I tried to update (svn up) from server (https://inkscape.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/inkscape/inks) but no new messages update. In catalog of Kbabel I saw some countries show different messages number (ex: he has 4239 messages, km has 3986 messages). P.S. I tried updtae message for Khmer (km). Do I have to use another option for svn up? Could anyone tell me about this? Thanks, Sokhem

en_GB translation update

Hi, Please find a fully updated version of the en_GB.po file here: http://www.miito.org/files/en_GB.tghs_20081210_0308.po I should note that within the update, there were 16 original strings which were incorrect in some way. They have been corrected in the translation. However, I do intend to fix the original strings (along with a dozen or so dubious but unchanged ones) when I get a spare moment. Cheers, Tim

At the end of the chapter there's a paragraph and further there is a footer: Author : Introduction © Joshua Facemyer 2008 Modifications: adam hyde 2008 Elisa de Castro Guerra 2008 License : General Public License Produced in FLOSS Manuals Do I have to translate (or duplicate) these entries or they're automatically added?

Inkscape manual - Polish team is ready

hello, I've gathered a small group of people - the group consists of: me - Wojciech Ryrych, translator, Monika Płaza - proof-reader - she graduated from Polish philology Leszek Życzkowski - supervisor (especially QA) Currently our team is translating Inkscape tutorials. New coordinator for Catalan translations

Hi all, I wanted to inform you that Joaquim Perez will be in charge of maintaining the Catalan translation of inkscape. He's been working actively in translating Gimp, so I'm sure he will keep rocking with Inkscape. I want to thank also all the people on the inkscape translator list, which have provided a lot of help with the most difficult terms of this application. Many thanks! Hi, I was told today several times that EN flag on the website is not quite recognizable, because it's England's flag, not UK or USA. Are we fine with that? Alexandre

adding a new item to inkscape.desktop

Hi, Currently all translated entries in final inkscape.desktop file get merged from PO files. Say, I have localized entries in another language for which there is no PO file (at least, yet). How do I add them? Create a new PO file and add them so they are picked up just like for any other language? Alexandre
