On the other hand, there are lots and lots of edits to the web page happening, and only a fraction of those are actually relevant to translators, and screenshot diffs are faster to work with (at least they are for me). What do you think? Would you like to continue receiving these updates by mailing list and screenshot? Or would the subscription to 'All pages' be enough? Brazilian Portuguese home page draft has duplicated content

Hi, I noticed that the Brazilian Portuguese home page draft (yes, him, again!) at: https://inkscape.org/pt-br/ had its content duplicated (all plugins were present twice, the second occurrence being in English; Roberto might have copied the content from English a second time). I removed the English plugins, but I couldn't remove the duplicated News plugin. Maren, could I get the permission for that? (Or could you do it, at least?) -- Sylvain

Response about arabic pronounciation

Dear Maren, I bielieve it is better to keep it "Inkscape" rather than translating to arabic, we can change it in case of display difficulties later, it's not an essential part. I'll submit a first po as soon as possible :D . Thank you, Regards. Abdelhak S.

Arabic update

Hello again, I hope you all are fine, In order to do things well, I found that it was written "إنكسكيب" in wikipedia arabic, which means that it should be read a little bit like "inkskip" because of the absence of tashkeel (Arabic has a thing named "tashkeel", little symbols on top or bottom of letters that are in some way the equivalent of vowels in latin languages). Should i write it as it is in wikipedia, or follow a phonetic transcription to make the arabic pronounciation closer ? (if it is the case, i'll also need a phonetic transcription of "inkscape", i don't know where to find it) I began translating an empty .po file to arabic, slowly to avoid mistakes, and hopefully it will be good (seems to take a lot of time tough). For the style patch file, i think it's a little bit too early for this, i'll submit a bug report when the time will be adequate. Have a good day/night everyone :D

Hello, I hope you all are fine ! So, as Mr. Hachmann adivsed me, i'm sending this e-mail to introduce myself. I'm looking forward to contribute (obviously) to the translation part, and this in two languages : French, and perhaps Arabic. I'm an 18 years old from Oran, Algeria. I'm starting engineering studies this year. I started touching graphic design back in 2009 trying every single tool of GIMP, manipulating images, then it was the graphic creation; i also learned some coding and had some experience in front-end development, but that's not the point. In resume, 3 years ago, and exactly the day i discovered and understood what Inkscape is, changed my life, my approach to design including my abilities. Naturally, it's like a duty to contribute to such a project, even with the smallest thing i could do, and i hope that i will :) Have a good day/night eveyone, i would be pleased to have some responses and advices if you can, please. Well, do you see the fourth column with colored discs, that one where each of them is green and which has ‘FR’ at the top? Uh… Actually, I'm wrong, I see one blue dot, probably coming from the time when I tested editing the Screenshots page, wondering why there were only and exactly two plugins in it. Pop. No more blue dots in my column.
