Hello, I have updated Lithuanian translation to be compatible with 0.45 branch and translated some of the different strings. Thus, I would be grateful if somebody would commit this to the svn repository so that people could test it more easily. New Czech available translator

Hello to peoble around Inkscape, I have a school work: to do 30 pages of translation from English to Czech. As a Inkscape user and student of semiotics at Charles University in Prague, I would like to get some instructions to manage some work for the translator team, maybe for the Czech part if there is some. Inkscape 0.45 release branch established

Hi all, ACSpike and I have created the release branch for Inkscape 0.45. With this, we are now ready to move to into Feature Freeze. All further release work (translations, tutorial updates, bug fixes, etc.) will need to be done on the release branch. You can check it out like this: svn checkout \\ https://inkscape.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/inkscape/inkscape/branches/REL… \\ inkscape-0.45-release-branch Note that whereas in previous releases, the branch was made AFTER the feature freeze; this time we're doing it BEFORE the feature freeze. The reason for this is to enable svn HEAD to return to regular development. So please, if you have changes that must go into the release, be sure to commit to both the release branch -and- to svn HEAD. Bryce

So it keeps the old translations if they do not change. So in theory you only have to touch those strings that have been added or changed. To edit po files I use a software that can group strings (translated, not translated, dodgy). It is called poEdit http://www.poedit.org/ . A software like this might help your work. Adib. ---
