Small sections of text missing in inkscape translation statistics page

Hello Inkscapers, I hope everyone is doing fantastically well! I noticed that on the inkscape website link (https://inkscape.org/doc/devel/translations-statistics-master.html) there are a couple of sections that are missing! They are: Shapes, Tips, Tracing, Tracing Pixel Art. Let me know if I missed anything or if there is something that I can do to help fix this. Thanks, Victor

Hi José, that's a great translation of the web page, and I'll put it in soon. Thank you! However, I was asking for a translation of a social media post: "Our upcoming version 1.0 needs an About Screen. Show us your interpretation of what this open source graphics editor can do! Deadline is Nov. 17. Details here: https://inkscape.org/community/about-screen-contests/" with 280 characters maximum. Maybe the lack of quotes around it caused the confusion... Sorry about that! (Because the contest page on the website is going to be updated continuously, and will only be needed for a very short time, I didn't ask for translations for that). Help needed for the translation of new download sub menus

Hi All, I have added three new sub-menu items to the download menu, which should simplify the navigation and allow to find the various versions quicker. Could you please help to translate the following new terms: "Current Version", see https://inkscape.org/admin/el_menu/menuitem/727/change/?_changelist_filters… "Upcoming Version (1.0)", see https://inkscape.org/admin/el_menu/menuitem/728/change/?_changelist_filters… "Latest Development Version", see https://inkscape.org/admin/el_menu/menuitem/729/change/?_changelist_filters… The administration UI offers simplified translation functionality implemented by Martin, which will allow you to add the translation for your easier than before. Another benefit of the new feature is that the (English) master term will be used by the system as default for any language, which has no translation yet. Under the section "MENU TRANSLATIONS" simply create a new entry with your language. Please use the same URL for all languages, the German translation may serve as an example. The Greek translation

Hi, The last time I've translated the Greek file it was in Launchpad. As I see, you have now moved to gitlab and I cannot find neither the Greek file or the .po file in gitlab. So, although I've tried to follow the instructions in gitlab and in Ukrainian translation's e-mail no luck. Please, send me the appropriate instructions. Bye

Hello everyone, My name is Nazarii. I'm a Ukrainian native speaker and have already translated Inkscape tutorials into Ukrainian. I'd like to help to translate the website too. I'd like to start translating the index tutorials page (https://inkscape.org/learn/tutorials/) to make the tutorials available as soon as possible (actually, I translated them by recommendation of Ukrainian community). Experience: can work with po-files. Also, I have tried to study Django some time ago :) Best regards, Nazarii

Don't translate nonsense entries for extensions

Hi all, this is a short warning about a current issue with the translation files. There are currently a lot of strings (~ 800, as far as I read) that refer to extensions, and that do not make sense, due to a bug with how translatable strings are extracted from .inx files. If you feel certain that you can distinguish those that make sense from those that don't (e.g. extension IDs like 'org.inkscape.filter.nicechart', numbers, Python file names like 'something.py'), then just skip them. If you're not sure you can distinguish those, better concentrate on translating non-extension content. These are strings that do not come from a file in ../share/extensions/ .
