I like to know where (or how) can I see these string in practice: #: ../share/extensions/gimp_xcf.inx:3 msgid "GIMP XCF" #: ../share/extensions/gimp_xcf.inx:9 msgid "Save Guides" ... Problem with accented characters in toolbar submenus (Inkscape 1.0 translation)

Hello! I have noticed that using accented characters in the toolbar menus is a bit problematic. In the current Italian translation it.po the string "parte da metà" is displayed as in the attached screenshot Accent_char_menu_current.png I replaced it with a UTF-8 character, the string is now "parte da metà" and this is the result is shown in Accented_char_menu_utf8.png What should I do to fix this? I'm missing some quotation marks? Thank you!

where can I find most Star (and perhaps Polygon) parameter strings ?

I made a virtual machine Debian Buster, and the test result is OK. And, the mo file created by poedit had been upload here(https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/issues) by user name "yichuang" right now .

Website: New news item about Inkscape 0.92.5 and RC1

Hi everyone, we've just released the new stable 0.92.5 version on Sunday, and also made a new Release Candidate version availble for Inkscape 1.0. Thank you to everyone who contributed to translations for the current stable release!
