Website Update: Tutorial links

Hi everyone, (if you're translating for German or French, you don't need to read on, it's already done) the links to the official tutorials have changed and the tutorial for tracing pixelart has been added to the list. This concerns these two pages: https://inkscape.org/en/learn/ https://inkscape.org/en/learn/tutorials/ To update the links for your language, you need to do the following: 1.) Go to the above-mentioned pages in your language 2.) Replace the links following this pattern: https://inkscape.org/doc/tutorials/basic/<TUTORIAL NAME>.<YOUR LANGUAGE ABBREVIATION>.html (for example: https://inkscape.org/doc/tutorials/basic/tutorial-basic.en.html) Before you replace a link, check if it is available for your language. Either look here: https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/inkscape-docs/trunk/files/518/ex… for a list of all files, or just enter the link you want to add into your browser url field. The french navigation seem sik. I have translate somes pages and see this navigation tweak in my translate view. I decide to cancel what i have made to disconnect. When i reconnect it was all ok, so i terminate my translation and publish the new translation. After check the new content published i notice that. Anyone can explain me what to do to resolve that ? Regarding Inkscape in Indian languages

Hi All. We have submitted requests for bringing out localized Inkscape for Indian languages through various bugs filed. List of all such bugs filed can be looked at https://bugs.launchpad.net/~cpdhutadmal. We have also submitted translations for those languages. Would like to know from the community if we have considered making builds for Indic languages. If so, when are we going to do it. If not, can we have a discussions surrounding the topic ? Website: Accidents reporting / Spanish funded dev / Updates

Hi everyone! It's great to see the number of untranslated pages melt in the early sunshine I have one big favour to ask from all of you: Please tell us, when you accidentally deleted or modified contents in other languages (or in their drafts). Our little team is built on trust, and it's important that we don't keep silent about accidents, so they can quickly be repaired. If something happened, and you don't want to send that to the list, that's okay, just send Martin Owens (the website admin) and/or me an email. If you are a translator for Spanish, don't forget to stop by the etherpad page Jabier started, so the document about funded development can be translated into Spanish: https://etherpad.wikimedia.org/p/7250FdjxDT (there's less than a fifth of the text left) And everyone, keep on looking for changes to the pages in the Download menu - the Linux section still undergoes some changes as the different distros add Inkscape 0.91 to their official repositories. Also, the Mac OS X section has received an update with a second package for older versions of OS/X. Kind regards, Maren

Inkscape-web founding page translation to Spanish.

Website: Bug Warning

Hi everyone, in light of recent events, I'd like to remind everyone that it may cause problems for the website if the 'Undo', 'Revert' and 'History' functionalities are used. Unfortunately, those are buggy, and can cause severe problems (for example, today, the About page and submenus were broken for all languages). The bug is reported, but not repaired yet - so for the time being, we all need to take extra care that we edit the correct pages, and that we always double-check what we are translating before we save and publish. If an accident happens, and you don't know how to repair it, please ask :) I hope we can overcome those challenges together (sorry for sounding like a PR person - I really mean this! I know it's not trivial.). The good news is that the About page is back online, and one English draft page is completely in English again. And, of course, that thanks to all your work, a lot of translations have recently been added to the website :D Thank you all, Regards, Maren
