Inkscape 0.47 on the horizon (Call for help)

Hey All, I forgot to post to the user and translator lists because I was too excited. :) I think we closed out the last of the blocker bugs today! So, will people please help ensure that the release notes are up to date? I'm headed there in just a minute to document my latest changes. http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Release_notes/0.47 Regarding PR, I am going to continue with what was started here: http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/AnnouncePlanning047 If you are an inkscape user who wants to contribute, even if you can't program, this is the perfect way to give back to the community. Please help us flesh this out and refine it. Packagers, please package up Pre3 if you have not already done so as a practice run... and honestly, I think it would be safe to plan a release for next week (between Monday the 5th and Friday the 9th), provided packages are available and no new issues arise. Any objections to this proposed plan? Any thoughts on if releasing on a specific day of the week will get more notice? Oh, and translators... please get any updates submitted asap. Thanks! Changed a string

Hello Translators, I am so sorry to have to tell you that I had to change a string during String Freeze as it was not clear enough in English. Again, it relates to the Save page in preferences. Given that this happened we will give you all a few extra days for translations. It would be great if the translations could be completed by next Wednesday. Cheers, Josh

Is it possible to delay that kind of changes to the next release (0.47.1 or 0..48)? The current string is not very good, but it's not that bad. The risk is that some translators don't have time to translate it again... I'm sorry, it was really necessary to change (and has already happened). Consider this an extension to next Saturday. Shall I copy 'PLACEHOLDER(...)' as it is?

Hi, These is a message we should not translate: msgid "PLACEHOLDER, do not translate" msgstr"" But, can we copy it in msgstr field? Or better than this, if this message is not to be translated, can you remove it from POT file? Thanks and best regards, Dooteo

Hebrew strikes back with 90%! Hey Translators, I just wanted to inform you about a late-in-the release string change that took place in preferences. Autosave page was renamed to save and an option (and tooltip) were added. Could you please check your tutorials po files (http://inkscape.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/inkscape/doc-docbook/trunk/)? 0.47 is almost ready, and I'm afraid we don't have loads of time. Thanks!
