How to see "Ref" in GUI? (/src/dialogs/item-properties.cpp:317) As I understand from sources I should see it opening properties of clonned object. Excellent. Thank you Yaron. Especially your final paragraph is of great consolation to me. "The more advanced users prefer the English interface beacuse most of the technical terms are hard to understand in Hebrew and also it is less likely you'll find an answer to your problems by googling your error messages (in Hebrew)" The reason I'm asking is that I'm currently tasked with creating an international GUI Design guideline for our range of applications here at work but I can not find any good sources on the actual usage of RTL interfaces so I'm simply asking everyone/everywhere about how much mirrored GUIs are actually used. (I know it's low-tech research ;) ) Our applications are geared towards technical users so I guess our (potential) users would go for an English interface anyway. Furthermore I'd like to work on Inkscape UI in the future and if I know that there are many non-professional users I'd take greater care in making unidirectional icons and such (not use left-right arrows etc.) Thanks, again. Hi, Does anyone know where these description strings are displayed on the GUI (I just want to see them on screen to know how long can the translated strings be): "Bounding box edges" "Move mode" There are a lot of strings of this kind, these are just two examples. They seem to be descriptions for actions. Can somebody provide file(s) what need to translate or give a link if translation is going to be done online? Hello, I'm trying to update Serbian localisation to recent svn in this way: ./autogen.sh ./configure --prefix=/home/urke/opt cd po make update-po But after that I get this error: urke@...214...:~/devel/svn/inkscape/po$ make update-po make inkscape.pot make[1]: Entering directory `/home/urke/devel/svn/inkscape/po' make[1]: *** No rule to make target `../share/filters/filters.svg.h', needed by `inkscape.pot'. Stop. make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/urke/devel/svn/inkscape/po' make: *** [update-po] Error 2 There is not filters.svg.h file, but if i remove filters/filters.svg.h and patterns/patterns.svg.h (on both files make die) from POTFILES.in, I get updated POT without translatable filters messages.
