No comma or spaces in between, please. The system that is used for determining the winner is https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant-runoff_voting, using the package openSTV from (old) Ubuntu repositories. Ties will be broken randomly. Name or nickname: The name you usually use in your communication in the Inkscape project, required in case you change your vote or forgot that you had already voted. Fwd: I can work on the it.po translation

I have been learning how to use git these days. I think that I will be ok with it. I actually had a look at the it.po file. I have noticed that some entries have the #, fuzzy header. I imagine that they need to be corrected. If I correct them, should I remove the fuzzy line? Also, at the bottom there is a section where entries have #~ at the beginning. What are those? It's time to vote for the About Screen for Inkscape's version 1.2! We're very proud to present you with an amazing gallery featuring 25 entries, by 20 different Inkscape artists. Thank you so much to everyone who entered! Community voting opens on March 7 (0:00 UTC) and closes on March 13, 2022 (23:59:59 UTC). Here are the rules: * If you don't have a user account on the Inkscape website yet, you need to register (https://inkscape.org/user/register/) to be able to vote. * Everyone who enjoys Inkscape is allowed to vote. * Everyone gets 1 vote - this includes all contest entrants. * Visit the gallery and check out all the amazing works of art. * Click on one of the thumbnails to see the a larger version of the image and a description. You can also comment on the contest entry. * To cast your vote, either click on the check mark below the image or hover over the small image in the gallery to see a circle-shaped checkbox you can click on. Call for translations for Inkscape 1.1.2 (bug fix release, stable branch)

Hello Inkscape translators! This is the official call for translations for the upcoming Inkscape 1.1.2 , which is planned to be released in early February. 1.1.2 is expected to be the last in the 1.1.x series of Inkscape, and it is bugfix release, so the number of updated strings is small. If you'd like to contribute to 1.1.2 translations, please coordinate with everyone in your language's translation team, and get the latest po and pot files from https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/jobs/artifacts/1.1.x/download?job=tr… Further information is available from https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/Translation_information and https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/Interface_translation -------- If you are a translator for any of the languages below, please also check your 1.1.x branch po file for errors – either using the translation tool of your choice, or by compiling it to a mo file on your computer and reading the output – as they contain formatting errors and / or do not properly indicate the language they are for (default value is still set): as, az, doi, en_AU, en_CA, eo, es_MX, fa, hy, kok@latin, ks@aran, mk, ml, mni@beng, mni, mr, or, sat@deva, sat, sd@deva, sd, ur, ta --------- Inkscape 1.2 (currently still the same as the master branch) is approaching its alpha stage. Thank you, dmtrs (Dimitrios?)! Could you update your file with a recent pot file, please? You've been working on a very outdated version. See https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/Interface_translation#2._Get_the_file to find a link where to get the latest pot file for updating it (to not lose your work) and https://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/Translation_information#Update_a_translation… to learn how to update your translation file. Instead of the described msgmerge, you can also check whether your translation software supports updating from a pot file. Most do! Note that the current focus is on the upcoming 1.1.2 release, not yet on 1.2, which doesn't meant that you can't work on it, but just keep in mind that we expect newly added strings to still change. But how do I get the development 1.1.2 for testing ? The "Latest Development Version" from the web site download menu & page is for version 1.2.
